I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted. I’ve been busy doing talks, cooking demos, working on grants, and developing a nutrition clerkship. Plus, I host a radio show called the Community Health Focus Hour. The show is on WVON 1690 from 1-2pm on Saturdays. A friend recently asked me why I don’t share my radio show on my website. I didn’t have a good answer. So from here on, I will share every show.
This episode was a part of Colon-Cancer Awareness month. I was blessed to have some of my fellow GI colleagues across the country join the show. Even one of my patients called in.
Even though Colon Cancer Awareness month has passed, there’s nothing wrong with a little reminder that colon cancer screening is important. Yes, I frequently write about food, but I’m a gastroenterologist first and foremost.
Cheers
